In August 2020, Cody Lovins expanded into the pet care industry by acquiring three Dogtopia franchises in the Houston area. Operating dog daycare, boarding, and grooming businesses requires attention to facility management, customer relationships, and the needs of pets and their owners. Under his ownership, the Dogtopia locations achieved more than 40 percent year-over-year sales growth.
